In structural engineering, active structures that combine the principles of lightweight construction with bending elastic component behavior are increasingly being investigated. For realization a prototype an hybrid roof structure at laboratory Hybrid Structures BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, preliminary investigations on case study conducted in framework this publication order to improve design process these types structures.
